Awards

Miss Dance Drill Team Texas has presented quality awards for over 30 years to our contest winners. 

Awards include:

• Top Scoring Teams at Contest will receive a MDDTT Banner!
  

• Team and Officer Award Sweepstakes!

  Team/groups entering 3 or more categories and receiving an 85 or above on each routine will qualify for the Sweepstakes award.

• Kay-Tee Awards!

  Teams who enter 3 or more team categories and score 90 or above from each judge on each routine will receive the Kay-Tee Award.

• Choreography Awards!

Outstanding choreography will be recognized.

• Elite Team Awards!

The Elite Team (1-25 members) will compete in all of the same categories as teams. They are eligible for choreography, Sweepstakes and Kay-Tee Super Sweepstakes awards. Elite teams regardless of team size compete in same classification.

• Ensemble Awards!

Medals will be awarded to each 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in all ensemble categories.

• TOPS IN TEXAS - Solo Awards!

  Medals will be awarded to all solo participants who score 85 or higher.

  Placement of number of runner ups will be according to number of entries in each grade level. The runner-ups will receive a trophy.

• There are two different Solo Divisions. The Tops in Texas and the California National Qualifier.

Top 3 Finalists in MDDTTexas Solo Competition will qualify to compete at the MDDTUSA National Competition.  Winner of MDDTTEXAS will also receive $500 cash.
